@@Astrohavenn “ah yes” 💀 but yea that’s the only nerf he needs kenji is really simple to counter dude if he uses his ult you go left or right it never changes and you can even punish him because everyone know he spawns at his last location on top of that kenji also needs to get close because you get max two dashes and you need to waste ammo just to get the second dash and don’t say “use the gadget” the thing sucks no one’s using that and even then kenjis counters are literally almost any ranged brawlers because of long it takes for him to move not to mention that his star power is meant to be strong anyway as most are and even then you need to wait 5 seconds with out taking any damage which doesn’t even matter because that’s also easy to counter you hit him with a weak attack then you can go crazy ult and stuff I’ve rarely had my shield on while in a fight with ranged brawlers and for his healing gadget who cares mortis ult does the exact same thing if not sometimes better kenji relies heavily on it to bro has 7000 health that’s not that much compared to other brawlers

My problem with Kenji is that he removes all the downsides. He is a combination of bibi and mortis but What makes bibi balenced is her attack needs to charge up and what makes Métis balenced is his reload speed. Kenji gets rid of both of those. Also, playing Kenji is hard because you’ll usually face a higher level Kenji cuz he’s so popular and broken so it kinda forces you to max him which is annoying

Countering Kenji is almost impossible because he can heal and has a broken shield, and if he’s in trouble he can run and still hit you because the slash attack is op. Only counter I can think of is surge and pet brawlers like Jessie and Nita.

@@corbels Moe's only actual counter is snipers cuz they outrange him. Anything else he can deal with just fine. Kenji can be countered by literally every brawler that assassins struggle with: Gale, High DPS brawlers, Surge, etc. I'd definitely say Moe is more flexible than Kenji.

IMO They should make an update buffing unusable brawlers instead of always nerfing new brawlers. It's getting annoying, I have Moe but didn't upgrade him due to knowing that he will absolutely get nerfed. I did max out Kenji, even if I was sure he would be nerfed since it's an established fact that samurais are cool, but I'm so bad with him that I don't even think he needs a nerf. He is somewhat easy to counter, and I do believe that he is a surprisingly high skill brawler. A noob stomper for sure, first ranks were so easy, but when you get even a little higher in trophies most players know how to play against him

the main problem with current kenji is his reload speed (like why can he just ignore the main rule of the mortis-like brawlers when mico didn't) and funnily enough, his switching attacks, the slash is his main source of damage and it has a high range in comparisson to other close combat brawlers, so unlike mortis you don't need to be in the opponents faces to kill them, just dash to dodge/distance/approach and the slash for ahit and a bit of healing, so characters who counter mortis can't counter kenji: shelly will only deal 1200-1800 to him, bull will have a slightly better time with like 2400 damage, leon is only doing 2000+ if all projectiles hit and kenji doesn't dodge them, el primo is not hitting kenji, edgar is not hitting kenji, rosa will only deal 920(?) sometimes, chester is like 1240-2480, griff is hitting for 1500+ if kenji does not dodge the attack, buzz will hit one projectile sometimes, buster is only hitting for 1800-2000, draco will only have half the dps on second form, hank can't super do delete him, lily can't hit him, melodie's notes don't hit him, moe will deal 1100-2200 and kit will hit for 2000. few of the brawlers listed deal enough damage to clash directly with kenji's damage, there are some who match or even go beyond his damage numbers, but they still don't deal enough to beat his healing, and he has a faster reload speed than all of the ones listed that can even hit him, so he's also dealing that 2000 damage more frequently, i'm not even taking the super into consideration here. to fix this i'd make his slash deal 1500 (or even 1000 if they don't want to nerf his reload speed for some reason) and the dash deal 2000, now if you wanna kill people you actually need to go in and risk yourself like mortis, mico and melodie while still having the option to poke at a safer distance without it being obnoxious.
