I'm close to getting the mastery title for kenji and can honestly say he does need a nerf BUT a very small one, most content creators are overly exaggerating his strength Because without his gadget he drops down like 3 tiers so that need to be managed with care or else he will become obsolete Needless to mention he is only really playable in half of the game modes

The gadget is strong but kinda hard to use (you have to time it perfectly) .. The star power is completely fine it's only activateable once every 5 seconds and he has to not take any damage whatsoever .. what really need to get nerfed is his healing from attacks and super make it half the current amount and he will be balanced

The star power definitely needs a nerf. Negating 90% of damage basically removes 1 amo from each brawler, that in combination with his gadget that gives him his health back plus a healing factor makes broken. This isnt even considering how he has a very fast reload speed.

@@gluewz1318 bro.. fang gets his shield every 5 seconds even if he takes damage .. yes it takes an ammo to get rid of Kenji's shield but it's only once and he wont be getting that shield again during the fight .. his healing from attacks and super however is so broken, if you were playing a brawler like sandy or poco and he was low on health but he managed to get near you he will attack you to heal more HP than you can deal to him and he will kill you while getting more HP than he started the fight with

Been maining Kenji at rather high trophies since his release and you can deal with Edgar pretty well. It’s definitely not your easiest matchup but you can easily outplay him with a bit of spacing and kiting.

Here's what I would change about him: 1. Give his super a proper indicator so you have a fair chance at dodging 2. Remove his invincibility while ulting, during his ult there is litterally no counterplay otherwise 3. Reduce the healing of the healing gadget. (No brainer) 4. Add a better sound que to his super like a traditional koto melody , in the chaos of a match that "pring" sound is SO easily drowned out by everything else going on.

Hi Charlie, love to see u happy recently, I had all my credits from pass saved for Kenji but when new season was there, it didnt let me to change my current unlocking brawler (Draco) to Kenji and I had to unlock Draco so my day is kinda bad 😢.
