My oven light is a light bulb that withstands 500 degrees. A chip tray is necessary for freezer light, really? Come on ,Kenmore! Thank you for your excellent video ( saving much time )

I have these lights in my fridge! I pulled one out and a couple of the little smd resistors look bad and are probably causing the issue. I'm going to try to replace them and see if that fixes it instead of buying a whole replacement board

Mine went bad again. I actually had a guy come out to tell me the problem but I will fix it myself. He said being the lights are flickering there is a light that’s bad, not the board for me. He said if you don’t have power to the light and the fan Isn’t running it’s the board. If the fan is on then the board is fine. Let me know what fixes it.

@@MrBaldChronicles. yeah I definitely don't have the fan running. I'm confident in my ability to replace the components on the board but I'm not sure what the coating is over the components (assuming some sort of mask to keep moisture from the components) and I'm not sure how to reapply the coating. I might do more research but I also might just buy a new set of boards if I'm not feeling confident about moisture-proofing the boards

It's ridiculous that all these fridges need a circuit bord/module assembly just for a light, and it costs approx. $60 with shipping on E-bay. Remember when all you needed was a $1.50 lightbulb. I'm not fixing mine because I have no confidence it will last much longer anyways ! It's at least 12 yo.They're made to last only 12 years !!

Did you turn off the frig first? Or flip the breaker off?

No I just disconnected the old and connected the new. These are snap in lights.
