Outstanding! Concert band quality in a marching unit. Straight lines, diagonals, proper carriage, everyone in step, articulate full Sonics ( I can hear the woodwinds clearly). Congratulations to all involved on a most excellent performance (including the flag team).

Is this American thing? High School Marching Band, that is. I see few Japanese High School Marching Band videos on KZbin, but 99% are American High School. Don't see much of any European or other continent represented as far as High School Marching Bands are concerned.

Terrific performance! Well-supported sound, good tempo. Unfortunately I missed half the band review due to being cold & soaked or maybe I would have some idea of how Kennedy got 7th place. AA must have been a slugfest if there were 6 better performances that day. That's what makes the Arcadia FOB a great event, year after year. Thanks as always, Luis!

Brings back very fond memories of being in the High School marching band back in the early 1970s! We loved parades! During football season we prepared a _new_ and complete half-time show _each week_! It was hard work but we did it! And we did it very well! During marching competitions we always won Sweepstakes of 2nd place! Even our uniforms were distinguished! The resembled the British uniforms, including the tall bearskin hats! Those were the days!

This 1893 Martial March of the Austro-Hungarian Empire is one of my most favorite military marches. I play it every morning while enjoying my coffee.. What great motivational music to listen to while conquering all of northern Italy... It always highly motivates me..

Where was this recorded? The background looks like it could be im south Texas. There is a Kennedy, Texas located southeast of San Antonio that was settled by German innigrants begining around 1850.

@@jonathanwiener4979 actually you are both wrong the Anthem of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and by extension the Austrian Empire previously was Gott Erhalte- Gott Beschutze. Gott erhalte Franze den Kaiser was a birthday present to Francis II (I) from Franz Josef Hayden and only served in an official capacity during his reign, as his successor's name was Ferdinand and Gott Erhalte Ferdinand den Kaiser doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

Algerian Prophet This march was a favorite of Sousa, who played it enough that it became essentially adopted by the US. Not to mention the high school is from a heavily German influenced part of Texas, who brought their culture, including music, when they settled the area.
