This is really impressive. Having built several dollhouses myself in the past, although not quite as elaborate as this, I know there are thousands of dollars involved in creating this. The detail is incredible on this entire piece. I know I will be watching this several times over.

I saved a lot of money by building much of the furnishings and accessories myself, and by fixing broken items and giving them new life. I really didn't spend as much as you may think, since so much is from scratch. For example, I built the refrigerator for about $200 in parts, where it would cost over $1,300 to buy one, and even then, the new ones don't have the working electronics that I built into this one. The best I've found on the market come with one battery operated switch. I talk about mine in the video a bit. Thank you so much for your comment! I appreciate it!

Yes it would! It's a model of my actual car, that my dad bought in 1968. I learned to drive in it and bought it from my parents when I was seventeen. My son gave me this model one Mother's Day. Your husband has great taste! :-)

Wow u r extremely talented.. but can u please show more closeups of the inside. This is incredibly intricate ly detailed extremely hard work!! All u need now is gorgeous extremely highest quality expensive terri davis dollhouse miniature porcelain dolls. Her work is JUST AS INCREDIBLE AS THIS!!! Where did u go to school to learn how to do this? But also u have to have extremely excellent talent also to be able to make exact replica of a real gorgeously intricately elaborate stunning detailed work like this!!!

Each build is bid according to the size, details, and options chosen. The house featured in this video is my prototype, and is fully staged. I hesitate to speculate on what my prototype would cost to duplicate, as it was built to show many different options and details. @@kennedyminiatureconstruction what I was thinking. From what I’ve seen 30-50k probably wouldn’t buy it with all the interior filled out. I build just to build but I put a lot of detail in as you have. Just trying to get an idea what to charge for a premium house. Thanks for the reply.

Where does one find all the miniature furnishings?!...

@@sonomawinetourdrivers3895 oh it’s out there.. and it’s quite expensive. Most good furniture is built with quality wood using same methods as 1:1 quality furniture. They have miniature type woodshops with specialized tools. I build much of my stuff myself.. the trick is to make everything look scale so finding things to replicate textures in smaller scale can be tricky.

Thank you so much. This dollhouse is my prototype and is staged with furnishings. A custom build does not come furnished, but does include the same things that would come inside a new actual house. That would be to say that it would come with bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets, and the appliances you would find in a new actual home. It would not come with curtains, but they could be commissioned as add-ons. I do not sell accessories separately or make curtains for sale. Custom builds start at around $40K, for a six room house and are priced according to the build.

It's a business for me and not a hobby. But if you're interested in building dollhouses the only way to start is to just jump in. It only requires imagination and design chops.

The china did not all come from the same place and the furniture was reupholstered my me. I would suggest that you search online, as I did, for items to complete your house. Best of luck.
