It's not hypocritical that a university has large building and a single family has a mansion. It's not hypocritical for him to suggest universities not take donations from fossil fuel companies and the university to accept them anyway, if it's not something he's directly in control of. If you tell someone not to do something and they do it anyway, it doesn't make you a hypocrite. It just makes you guys look like clowns for chalking those things up to hypocrisy. It makes you look even more dumb to use stuff like this to distract from the fact that there is a real climate crisis.
