Jeremy Dutcher is a classically-trained Canadian Indigenous tenor, composer, musicologist, performer, and activist, who currently lives in Toronto, Ontario. This classically trained operatic tenor takes every opportunity to blend his Wolastoq roots into the music he creates. He is most noted for his album Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa, which won the 2018 Polaris Music Prize.

Only 5455 views in 4.5 years? I have been mesmerized by Jeremy's voice since I first heard him during a course I was taking, summer of 2021. Just when I think I've seen everything from him on KZbin, something else gets suggested. I hadn't heard the second song before. Beautiful, as they all are.

Oooooooooooh, that's how you say "Ultestakon". Wow, I'm bad at this, but I had been saying "Ool-tess-ta-CONE", like that. It's my other favourite song of his, but my favourite is...hard to choose. Probably "Nipuwoltin". I think that's how you spell it. Like I say, I'm bad at this.
