Saw him perform a few days ago with the Colorado Symphony and cannot stop thinking about that concert. So glad some of it is online. I hope he records and posts a full recording soon, with more Punch Brothers/Orchestra covers, because wow. Wow wow wow.

The Oct 12 concert was great. Very different from the 2022 concert.

I saw Chris perform this with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra last month and I am STILL talking about it. Thanks for sharing this video with us so I can hear this beautiful arrangement again! (Now, if any part of "Attention!" was filmed, that would make me even happier

Interesting history of the song. I love this song and all the work of Chris Thile.

Fantastic, fantastic arrangement. CTis a towering musician, amazing composer and one of the great singers, always musical, but understanding that real emotional connection happens when singing doesn't stray too far from the dynamics and rhythms of real speech.

Absolutely stellar. We all know how amazing a mandolin player Chris is, but I'm always impressed by his voice. He's such a good singer.

It's been amazing to see him grow musically from his days with Nickle Creek as a teen. This man works very hard on his craft and it shows. He's been a regular on the Bluegrass scene but has branched out in so many different directions. He's one of the best collaborators in the business. This performance is amazing.

An exceptional arrangement of an exceptional song... the orchestra --- especially the woodwinds and percussion -- brings an entirely new element of magic and cleverness. How about a full orchestral version of the Punch Brothers' Phosphorescent Blues...please!

Hung out with Chris at Noah's place five years ago and he noticed the whiskey I brought and we connected over that moment. Seeing this reinforces the notion that he is an underrated national treasure for what music he shares with us. That's all! Just some sincere appreciation.

I would love to know who arranged/orchestrated this- was it Chris himself? It's spectacular.
