What I always found interesting about this commercial is the doors of the trap, they're painted black and yellow instead of being glow in the dark. The glow in the dark must've been added on later in the toys development.

The foam thing in the proton pack was dumb. Likewise so were the streams in the action figure's proton packs. However, mine was not bent like this as i recall, which makes it make a LITTLE more sense I guess. I guess you were supposed to bend it to shape, which I definitely never did. Interesting.
