your childhood mirrors mine. It was Wrestling over comics but the comic book character I had a passion for was and still is Batman. the 89 movie blew my mind

That is a beautiful Batman example and Martian Manhunter. I think that's a perfect observation regarding action figure lines that we didn't grow up with. We appreciate the "artistry". It pretty much describes much of the toys in my collection. I think if you were a kid in 84-86 you would've loved these. If I was a kid in the 90s, I would've loved Toxic, Biker Mice, Bucky O'Hare, Skeleton Warriors and so many more. Another great video mate. Just wish u made more vids, it's just a chill session watching you 😎😊👍

Nice pick-ups Scott, especially Batman, who looks like he's in great shape. Both of these figures are complete, as you mention. Super Powers is my jam, absolutely my favourite toy line. There has never been a better representation of these characters, I think. But they were a huge part of my childhood. I received Batman and Superman for Christmas in 1984, and have memories of days, weeks, months playing with them, and the heroes and villains who arrived later. As for branching out - I have very limited space, so I try not to!

I appreciate that mate! Yeah the Batman is in pristine shape, so good that I was a little worried the cape may have been repro. I agree with you, each of the Super Powers figures are the perfect depiction of the characters to me. Christmas '84 must have been a cracker!.. and I hear you on the space, I'm fast running out of it myself!

I JUST started collecting this line too! I went to a local Comic-Con and was able to find a Wonder Woman and Flash, and am now waiting on an eBay delivering of a complete Superman and Lex Luthor. Will slowly start filling in the gaps over time.

I was a big fan of DC (especially Kenner's Batman series), this was Kenner's 2nd top action figure after Star Wars... Super Power's Batman, Superman and Captain Marvel/Shazam are my most favorite figures in this series (love their colors design).... (lol, my nephew watched the Lego DC movie, he saw the Martian Manhunter and thought is a bad guy, he asked me about him, so I told him he's a hero, one of the founding members of Justice League, he still don't believe till he watched the rest, lol)

Yeah the Superman figure is iconic as well, can't wait to add him to the collection. Excuse my ignorance, I'm still learning about these characters but Captain Marvel is a DC character?

@@ScottCrusher is actually Shazam, he was called Captain Marvel in the early comic, then due to the trademark of Marvel's own Captain Marvel, DC have changed it to Shazam now....

As always another great video loved it and always love learning about new vintage toy lines I never had as a kid will definitely keep an eye out for these ones for me I had a lot of Kenner Star Wars and would go through the little catalogues that came with them and be like oh would love to get police acadamey or bettlejuice or Batman animated series and that was just from a Kenner catalogue 😎👍🏻

@@ScottCrusher yeah I just learned yesterday through a KZbin episode were they looked at a collectors room mainly TMNT and MOTU thundercats and ghostbusters that a lot of the monsters from beetlejuice were ones from the last ghostbusters series that got cancelled then they just re labeled them for bettlejuice but he had them displayed with his real ghostbusters Kenner line crazy 😜 when you learn the history of one toy line it’s a 🤯😎👍🏻
