I like PO, but the way he is going about his politics will not deliver the desired outcomes. PO is not strategic with his politics. He feels being a "good guy" is enough to deliver him. No, it won't. The system is not built on positive values and meritocracy. He needs some measure of influence on the party system. This he can do by getting people who share the same values with him into the leadership structure of the party. I thought the short time before the last election didn't give him enough time to structure the party, but after the election, I expected him to start the rebuilding of the party to position it for better outcomes in future elections. Look out, those who ran and won elections under the Labour party. Are they delivering at the National Assembly as expected? Answer is No. Why? Because they were simply opportunists who ran on the PO wave. They never had convictions nor believed in PO's values. One would have expected PO to learn from that error and start fixing it. Instead of PO to fix his "backyard," he goes from one place to another, attending all functions. This is not how to stay relevant. Time is ticking. 2027 is around the corner. PO needs to recruit men who believe in his values and push them to take strategic positions in the system. He can not deliver himself. He needs men to advance his cause. Lastly, PO can only win elections in Nigeria at the national level if he runs on a broad-based platform.

Its really interesting how people forget so easily. Mr Peter obi is a man that speaks gently but weilds the big stick when necessary, we have forgotten he's the one that changed the fortune of anambra from being continously godfathered and the bold actions he took as Governor of the state. It takes alot of balls to do that. One thing Mr Kenneth should understand is that a leader should exercise alot of observation, patience and restrain especially in a new environment, Labour party is a new environment for Mr Peter. He may act as advised by Mr Kenneth and it will be his downfall in 2027. If you observe the party actions especially after the elections, it tells you alot of the mindset of the people acting as party leaders and member's, most of them are selfish, its all about them and what they can get. You need to be very careful when youre within such people. So as not to be engulfed by their act of selfish greed. I will say it categorically, there are tribal bigots in Labour party. Wisedom may appear slow yet its safest and long lasting.

I love this guy Kenneth okonkwo as much as I love Peter Obi. I pray that they can always work together. Kenneth okonkwo illustration on bitter and sweet, is fantastic. And Peter Obi's fear for his life, in view of the madness in Nigeria, is also a great wisdom . M. K. O Abiola saga, is a typical example. With Abiola death, did that madness in Nigeria stop? In a descent society, life can be sacrificed and at the end, the good result of the very essence the life was sacrificed, will be achieved. But in a society like Nigeria, one sacrifice is life for nothing. What has the death of Funsho Williams achieved in Lagos let alone Nigeria. The problem is the masses and their docile. The masses, is the real force that brings the change. What the leaders do, is to provide the mental resources.
