You are an inspiration my friend. From now on I plan on carrying with me my omd em 10 and 14 mm everywhere I go, all the time. You are right the photographs are there waiting to be made what is missing are my tools instantly available, easy to carry, unobtrusive, fast.

Nice chat. The D600 was thrown in to the hole of the rejected gear by the social media tales. And yet it's a wonderful and full of quality camera. Which is good for all of those who don't go with the flow and can get them as one of the biggest dslr bargains of these times. Yes, they can get the sensor dirty, no more than once or twice in their life, but nothing that a simple sensor cleaning can't handle. And the truth is that, whenever I go to "my" camera repair shop, I see Canon, Fuji and all kind of cameras there, for sensor cleaning. Go figure, so much ciber talking for not an issue.

Good you found a new friend. Received my Fujifilm X100T back from the surgery center. Sent it off to Fujifilm North America years back - they didn't nor would they have the part to repair - top plate. Recently found a repair shop in Southern California that could do the repair. Nice to have my old friend back. Now the Ricoh GR iiix is lonely. We will have to go for a walk sometime.

I've been thinking about a D700 as an up grade from my D7000. I guess I should think about the D600 also.

I have been using my d600 since it first came on the market. I just can’t use any other digital camera. The battery door broke off three years ago, and as a painter/artist it’s gotten paint splatter and smear all over the body! It works like a Clydesdale in a snowstorm. Must be something the air because I too found myself considering a second one at my local camera stores used department. Maybe I should.
