I was actually at this game in NJ at the Meadowlands. Really like watching the Sonics in the early, mid 90's and were my favorite team throughout the decade despite living in NJ. This was the 1st time I saw the Sonics live and Kemp proves why he was an All Star this game. Too bad the Sonics couldn't put NJ away and let this close one slip away

@@toppdogg2815 your parallel universe is very interesting, I suppose. But in my reality DC was a big and heavy guy from the get go. A downsized Shaq if you will. I.e. the size and weight were the main reasons they were both considered to be "talented".

Derrick Coleman, Drazen Petrovic and Kenny Anderson trio would've been contenders in the east in the 90s if Drazen didnt tragically pass away.. RIP Legend, also Coleman could've been the goat PF, dude could do everything

Kenny was pure. DC and Kenny were the Kemp and Payton of the East. If Drazen didn’t pass away the Nets could have been special.

Absolutely great mid 90’s hoops. Seattle at this time is one of the most popular teams and for good reason, crazy depth they had. Drazen Petrovic (RIP) is notably absent and would have made this matchup even more fun than it was. The dynamic point matchup of GP and Lefrak, Queens’ own Kenny Anderson was a major highlight. DC v Kemp, helluva matchup as well! DC with Kenny (plus Petro) as Jersey’s big three was an upcoming and promising trio! Jersey still gave up on the remaining core too soon. Good W for Chuck Daly’s (RIP) Nets.
