I recall the times when this terrific band was riding the charts. They were first class musicians every one of them & such polished performers a shame young people do not seem to appreciate their genius.

I had the pleasure of being Kenny's Tour Manager, sound engineer and driver for his last 13 years. Kenny didn't enjoy good health for several years but still put on a great show for the punters, he was a great entertainer and I was proud to be considered a friend too.. much missed, as is Acker, Humph, George and Terry ...

I didn't know Kenny had passed away, what a shame. Love the music.

Given today's synthesized crap sound, it's hard to believe that this magnificent music was still in vogue during my lifetime.

I always remember Ken playing at the local village hall, arranged at short notice by Paddy Lightfoot due to a cancellation. At the end of the gig we all headed back to Paddy's pub a couple of miles up the road. Before Ken arrived, blue lights flashed outside the pub and everyone ducked for cover as it was well after licence closing time. It was all down to Ken who asked a copper for directions to the pub........... Not many left now of the old band.
