Back in 1997, MotorWeek tested the Ford Kenny Brown Explorer GTS. Our staff likes this vehicle, because it has 5.0 liter V8, with 295 horsepower. The road test timing was 6.3 seconds with 0-60 MPH, and 15.0 seconds with 89 MPH. The braking was 60-0 MPH, with 130 feet. The Ford Kenny Brown Explorer GTS had a base price XLT V-8 at $28,300.
