30 years ago, I was sick with a rare autoimmune disease, which formed 2 large clots in the left ventricle of my heart. I had gained so much water weight, I went from 110 lbs to 150 lbs and at only an inch over 5 feet tall, it made me use a wheel chair. It took 6 months to diagnose my condition. I found this music one day playing in the background of the weather channel My family grew so tired of the channel they went and found out who was the artist. But not until I finally got my Diagnosis, and I was in a Hospital in MN being cared for by Mayo Doctors. That was June of 1994. We couldn't afford the subscription to cable in the Hospital. I found out if I went to the weather channel and didn't stay there over 3 minutes I could hear his music, which lifted my soul, made me forget for the 3 minutes and to believe I would survive. After tests and a team of Doctors seeing me for 3 days straight (I was put on Heparin) the Head cardiologist visited me, alone. Said he was sending me home on Coumadin and a slew of other meds. I asked him bluntly, what would happen if one of those clots dislodged, and he answered back just as blunt, which I appreciated. he said just a tiny bit of one of the clots, would either paralyze me, or if it went to my Brain I would be gone instantly. I went home. On prednisone. I lost the water weight in one week. But one of my Sons bought me the cd. I played it often. Then I wrote Kenny G, and I told him, it was this song that helped me stay calm and at peace thru so much. Yes, he did reply to me. I love this song, I love his music. End of August 1994, I went back to work. I got my life handed back to me.

I love EVERYTHING, KENNY G COMPOSED AND PLAYS. I WRITE POETRY AND PLAY A CLARINET TO MY POETRY. MY PARENTS WERE MUSICIANS AND ARTISTS . I INTRODUCED THEM TO KENNY G AND THEY ALSO COMPOSED MUSIC. I.MISS THEM SO MUCH AND WISH THEY WERE STILL HERE TO SHARE THIS GREAT MUSICIAN,AS WELL AS SO MANY YOUNGER SINGERS. I just Regret, I didn't take my music lessons more seriously. so I play Kenny and other in memory of my parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles and cousins who all were MUSICIANS. My father played almost every wind brass , percussion ,keys, instrument but sax and French horn and Trumpet were his favorites. My parents taught us to appreciate all music and respect The instruments. but most of respect the artists. love you KENNY.
