A couple of years ago people were throwing Kenny Latt under the bus because his voice is ulbersoft. It´s true that it´s soft but at least it´s not thin. Vocally, he was his best on this 96 self titled album. He and Herb Middleton killed those slow songs on that album. I still can listen to his 1996 album like it dropped yesterday. It´s still one of the best albums in current RNB rotation on my PC.

Kenny in his prime was outstanding! The way he could hold a note is remarkable! He is a great performer. As Kipper Jones said, "that voice gets into our soul". That band was awesome too! Wish there were more of KL performances from that year on YT. Love it! Thanks.
