Them first 2 albums will always be my favourite. Thats the band i fell in love with, John and Kenny were the sound of the Banshees.

What a tremendous influence Kenny has been on myself and countless others. Such a distinct style - an innovative, creative, tribal powerhouse! Thank you for this John Robb! Brilliant.

Great to hear Kenny reminiscing on those years! Have to confess that my percussion style - during the time whilst I was playing (as a second drummer in the line up) with John Robb's punk band Goldblade between 2000 and 2005 - was intentionally based on (and influenced by) both Kenny Morris from the Banshees and Teresa Nervosa / King Coffey of the Butthole Surfers. Fierce tribal thumping, played whilst standing up, over a few drums and cymbals.....which augmented the drums of colleague Rob in the band. Them were great times.

Well done Robb for putting Kenny at ease , he was very nervous at the start but soon got into his stride, shame it was so short...looking forward to the book very much.
