How can you look at your fanbase and tell us that a guy who didn't throw a single touchdown in 7 out of 12 of his games is our guy AND that you feel good about him??? The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Player development, if their is one thing hopeful about Kenny is that he has proven a steady line of upward progression in his play throughout his football career...even in his short time in the NFL. Did he still struggle in each game in spots? Yes he did, but when you step back you still see improvement overall...couple that with Canada's short comings, an O-line with obvious holes, and a division that is the toughest in the NFL...I think Pickett deserves at least 1 more season to prove he can progress high enough to lead the Steelers to a Championship some day. But it doesn't matter what I think, or anyone else. None of us have built a Super Bowl team. (outside of Madden football anyway) The Steelers have, at minimum, played in the Super Bowl at least once in almost every decade since the 1970's! You have the 70's, the 90's, the 2000's, and the 2010's....they know what they're doing! Let's just forget about the 80's...LOL I try to every day. History suggests that they'll get there in the 2020's...with, or without Kenny. I trust that the Steelers know more than me...and yes, even YOU TOO.

You're not delusional unless you're expecting the Steelers to win the SB next year. Mason is an upgrade from Kenny. Kenny is awful. But it's not about getting to the SB next season. I don't believe Mason Rudolph will make the Steelers a SB contender, but do you know how the Steelers definitely DON'T get to the SB? By starting Kenny or wasting first round picks in a trade for Justin Fields (or signing some other QB like Wilson or Tannehill). They either need to get extremely lucky with a later QB in the draft or ride with Mason and try to get better until the right situation manifests. Pressing the issue will only set the franchise back. We need Mason. Let's win a playoff game before we start talking about beating Mahomes in the AFC Championship. And let's be real. Injuries to the opponent's QB's were one of the main reasons we were a playoff team last year. We don't sweep the Bungles if Burrow is healthy.
