I’m not even sure what to think of the team anymore. One thing I do know for sure, Ben was an absolute wizard for throwing for 3800 yards and 22 touchdowns in Matt Canada’s offense with rookie Najee Harris and Pat Freiermuth AND with Chase Claypool and Benny Snell in place of George Pickens and Jaylen Warren. He accomplished twice as much as Pickett has with half of the resources 😂

It's not that confusing... Kenny doesn't go through progressions. He has one plan (either due to coaching or his own inability to get out of his head) and that's it. He's not the only one to blame here though. The simple fact he hasn't progressed this year is a combo - thats on him *and* the coaching staff. Ben spoiled more than the fans - he spoiled the staff too. We don't know how to develop a QB. Couple that with absolutely retarded play calls at times and Diontae turning back into a pumpkin... We beat ourselves. Just made the Browns look good while we were doing it.

Shows how good Ben actually was. Even in his last year. Matt likes to call plays that throw the ball 5 yards short of the sticks all day every week. The pass routes are terrible at best . The play calling looks like high school ball.

Who’s not getting any blame but should is Kevin Colbert. Pickett is clearly a bust, but his refusal to draft any off/def linemen in the first two rounds for the last 5 years *really* set us back. The reason Khan’s draft felt so good is because it reflected intelligent team building (T, DT in first two rounds). Colbert was busy collecting football cards.

I'm sorry, but this loss is on Pickett's shoulders. Canada's awful playcalling notwithstanding, even here that wasn't a game changer. Pickett's poor performance was. He has no vision, no accuracy, no pocket presence, terrible decision-making, he can't read defenses... I'm struggling to think of one thing he does right. Even his clutch factor seems gone. And I say this as the first one to jump on the Kenny bandwagon when he was drafted, as the happiest fan on Earth when Trubisky was benched last year, and as someone who expected Pickett to Pickens to be a thing for the next 10 years. But I just don't see that happening now. We have a couple of solid RBs, an amazing TE corps, at least a couple of great WRs, and with the addition of Jones to the OL, it's looked better than it has in years. The one element bringing what could be a solid offense down is our QB. This is by far the most infuriating and disappointing loss of the season, and maybe the worst one in years, because it was completely within reach. Even the dreaded Browns defense was carved open by Warren. Problem is, we had no QB.

All I'm going to say is go to 10:31 with 1:39 remaining. It's 1st down, Canada has DJ run a 5 yard sideline out, and Pickens run a deeper 15 yard sideline out. Kenny's leadership decision is to throw the 5 yard pass to set up the next down. Seen this all day and all year. Unsurprisingly, DJ drops it...again. Fun Fact: Did you know our lying eyes have deceived us? DJ has only registered 1 dropped pass all year long. Lets go Steelers!

I finally decided to watch this review, because even tho it's Thanksgiving morning, the thought of this game still makes me angry. At least Canada is gone now, but that's only half the problem, the other half is and will always be Kenny, until he's replaced. I know we've been hearing rumblings of offensive players being disgruntled, but at this point I wouldn't blame the defensive guys if they're on speaking terms with the other side, because pathetic doesn't even begin to cover it.

Thanks for soldiering through this one! It's just an ugly loss on the road to a division rival who has one of, if not the best, defenses in the league. It'll be fine. At the end of the day, if we go for it on that 4th and 5 I like our chances to win from there and despite the insane ugliness of the game, we have multiple chances in the 4th to win it, so the formula is still working. Just probably impossible to be perfect with it. 6-1 in one score games, I'll take it. What else are we going to do? Our roster is not good enough to be thinking Super Bowl or even playoff run. 6-4 is a miracle.

In any other season It may have been ok for a young 2nd yr QB who is well liked in the locker room, has raw talent but needs a little more time in the oven. At some point, the coaching staff has to look inward. That fourth quarter was truly pathetic. I can’t imagine looking this defense in the eyes week after week, asking for turnovers and splash plays when they’re on the field ALL GAME, and aren’t receiving any help from the offense. Holding the Browns to 13 is an absolute win with any other mediocre QB. Not even good. Just average. Kenny Pickett is seeing ghosts, spinning into the defense and missing wide open receivers. On top of that, Tomlin is so damn conservative about going for it on fourth down but keeps trotting out the same miserable offense. Changes have to be made. Edit: Kenny Pickett is finished. For sure.

Seriously feeling we need to get rid of DJ and Pickens. As I watched I saw both refused to block for each other, dive for passes or cause any discourse for the defense. OMG I literally can’t take it anymore!!!…40 some year old Ben with a beat up everything had us in better shape then kenny!! Sorry Kenny sucks and not all the blame should be put on ol matty but even though his play calling is horrible Kenny just doesn’t see the field and can’t make the throws whenever there rig him his face!!!, only option is to throw it to your running backs for a 3 yard pass and let them do the rest of the work because Kenny CANT DO IT!!
