Kenny Rogers has a great singing voice. He had a long career, going back to the 1960s. He became a solo Country music star in the 1970s, and reached the peak of his career during the early-1980s. During the 1990s, Rogers chose to have plastic surgery on his facial features, and it did not look good on him, in my opinion. Kenny Rogers retired from active touring and recording after his farewell tour a few years ago. Back in the early-1980s, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton recorded a duet together, entitled "Islands In The Stream". If you get the chance to do so, I would like to see the both of you react to their performance together.

I’ve been a Kenny Rogers fan for many years and saw several of his concerts. Lionel Richie wrote this song for him, and years later, Kenny and Lionel sang the song together. Both are amazing artists. I’m so sad that Kenny passed away this year. This song is the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard, who wouldn’t want someone to sing this to them, right ? Thank you for doing this video. He was truly an amazing singer. Just wow !

My song ❤ beautiful. It was sent to me many years ago and to this day I still cry listening to it. It's just beautiful, words are from the heart, you can just tell it was a Lionel song. He sings it beautifully as well. Their duets singing it leaves you mesmerized by their voices. I was brought up listening to older music 🙏 and thank my parents for that and I've done the same with my 5 children and hopefully my 2 grandchildren. My youngest son is 9 and listens to the radio station called Radio Caroline, he loves the oldies like his mammy. His favourite songs are Caroline by The Fortunes and Good Vibrations by The Beach boys, He listens to The Beach Boys everyday without fail, he has Radio Caroline station on his phone, sits in the garden and just chills out with his music, singing along to old tunes. Love to see younger generation enjoy what I call real music.

Kenny Rogers was the IT factor way back then. And Lionel Richie wrote this beautiful classic song. If you know Lionel Richie's music back then you won't be surprised he wrote this song. The same with Kenny Rogers writing the 'Oh No' song for Lionel. Btw, it was the last song Lionel sang with the Commodores before going solo. There was a lot of drama going on between Lionel and the band at the time when he decided to go it alone.
