That's not exactly what "they" said. First of all, it was Kenny who said something like that, and second, he was referring to the obvious comedy bits they do on the show. Like when he dresses up as certain characters or slips LSD into Spenny's orange juice. He obviously doesn't do those things outside the show. He does them to be entertaining. Nobody actually believes he does things like that outside the show, because it's a show. And how in the world did you get the idea that I thought everything was 100% legit from a comment about scheduling?
