My son Dylon had just been 17 for a few weeks when he passed on to Heaven. He always wanted to go to California. He loved this song. It makes me smile to think of him sitting on the beach looking out at the Pacific. Just at peace and happy. Sometimes I tell myself that's where he is. Some days that's the only way I can get through it. I love you Dylon. Forever.

This song was my biggest comfort after my boyfriend was deployed to Iraq during in 2004-2005. Before he left he took me out on his boat. I remember sitting in his captains chair as he gave me his marine corps necklace and promised he’d come back to me. When I first heard this song, I was sitting in a blue chair on my back porch which I've made lots of life decisions in over the years. To say there is just something about an ole blue chair is an understatement. I listen to this song multiple times a year. To say Kenny's songs have got me thinking a lot about the corporate life I was living would be an understatement, and I'm glad I've made the massive life changes needed to get away from that.

My favorite song. Lived in Panama City, Fl. Had an old blue steel chair stuck in the sand in between saw grass on the bay. Made some mistakes that led me to spend half my life in the penitentiary. Held in Bay County jail watching boats come and go out of the bay from my jail window. And trips on a prison bus where the sides are covered with steel. You can only get a glimpse of the world through the windshield. Music has helped keep me alive when I've felt like giving up.
