We played this song at my wifes funeral. She passed away in July at age 40. The ironic part was we married 6yrs ago standing in the surf in South Carolina, and we were at the same hotel when she passed that we stayed in when we were married. my mom loved kenny chesney more than any other artist, and if any song describes my momma perfectly, it's this one. she passed away suddenly a week ago, and I had them play this song with the slide show of photos at her visitation. I had never looked it up on here until after she passed. but I feel that the woman speaking at the end is her speaking to me,as silly as that sounds I find comfort and peace when I hear it. my mother had a true gypsy soul that she passed on to me, so I had her cremated and I intend to drive across the country this summer to spread her ashes in all of the places she loved so much when we would travel together. I have no words to describe how much I miss her, but I know she would be proud of what I'm doing for her, and I just cannot stop listening to this song. ❤
