Another cracking jig, one of those things you didn't realise you needed until you started using it, excellent 👍 The only change I'd make is to remove the gussets and use L shaped brackets on the two sides, they'd give the strength required without limiting the size of the wood you can put on for cutting 😀

Thought of that Barry but for me, I know what size stock I cut on these jigs and they will all fit in that cutout on the left side gusset. I guess it's all about what suits your needs. Thanks for tuning in

Glad that you like the jig. I've used one like this for years and this one is just an improved version after seeing the drawbacks of my original jig. Thanks for tuning in Doug.

Glad to hear it Paul. It's always better to get the jig to hold the smaller parts than to trust your fingers. Good luck on your project and Thanks for tuning in this week.

I would add a second slot for the clamp to keep it straight. It does it need to clamp tight just be able to slide.

@@acutabove_woodworkings yeah. What do you or did you do for a living, aka, daily work? Mine looks way worse tbh but I am slowly getting it together again. Your one of the few makers that just seems to love making. Doesn’t matter if wood, metal, glitter, or whatever.

@@aaronblackford981 I work full time as an electrician. I also have qualifications as a structural welder but I just use those skills for fun. The KZbin channel is just a hobby for me but with over 875 episodes of the show posted on my channel, it might be a bit more than a hobby now. LOL.
