Luckily, I don’t have a need for a laser because I can’t afford one, lol. I still watched every minute because of your relaxed and calm way of teaching. You are indeed a cut above.

I'm waiting to see the beast in action myself. I just got back from vacation and haven't filmed the follow up show to this one yet. It's going to be a busy week. LOL. Thanks for tuning in Troy.

I'm looking forward to trying this out. I got it assembled and got the show produced and then I jumped on a plane the next day and flew off for vacation. I only just got back a little while ago and haven't been able to put the conveyor into practice or produce the show I was going to produce with it. Here's hoping I can pull it off. It's going to be a high pressure production for sure. LOL. Thanks for tuning in William.

A very informative show this week. Although I do not have this brand of laser, I did find the information and demo very interesting and it definitely piqued my interest. Thanks for great show. Looking forward to seeing more work with this and looking forward to Friday's show. take care.

Thanks for the kind words on the show. I still have to film the show of this unit in action. I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend. Thanks for tuning in.

I don't think I'll ever be getting a laser (too old to learn new stuff like that), but your videos are so informative. Thank you Kenny.

I'm hoping Dennis. I haven't put this conveyor into action yet but I had better get my butt in gear and do it so that I have a show this coming Tuesday. Thanks for tuning in.

Thanks Kenny, the WeCreate seems a good setup. Hope the holiday was enjoyable, now to the grind of quickly getting the next video! no pressure.

I'm under the gun Philip. I can only film on weekends because I work full time during the week so this is going to be a challenge. The vacation was great. Thanks for tuning in this week. It's appreciated.

The y-axis works like a Cricut does, which works like an HP plotter does. Nothing new, just re-implementing older technology. It is great they have realized how to use it for lasers.
@acutabove_woodworkings3 ай бұрын
It's the same with any accessory. A rotary will use the Y axis to control the rotate and just as you pointed out, the y axis will control the conveyor instead of the gantry motor. Not new technology but long overdue I think. Thanks for tuning in Scott.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that the electrician takes great care with the cable management. 🙂

LOL. That's the difference between an electrician and a hack. LOL. Thanks for tuning in to the show this week.

This is the first I have heard of the WeCreat laser. Is it better in your opinion than the 40 watt xtool Pro or S1? Very good video, I liked it for sure. thanks again Ken, David
@acutabove_woodworkings3 ай бұрын
It's hard to say David because you are comparing apples to oranges. The WeCreat is a fully enclosed laser that has the camera for aligning your project and automatic focus whereas the xTool D1 is an open framed laser with manual focus and no camera. The S1 is a fully enclosed laser with auto focus but no camera. They are 3 very different machines and I like them all. The WeCreat has also recently improved their machine with connection to Lightburn as well as solidifying their wifi connect ability so now, you can engrave wirelessly. I think the WeCreat is a little more user friendly machine than the xTool units but all of them have their merits. I've done several shows on the WeCreat Vision. If you are interested, you can find the initial show here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4emgo2ubreqipY I hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in.

That taper needs upward. Does that means “v” need to go up toward your face or down? And they looked like finned v’s I think so it does I hope one side has more v’s than grooves. Sorry. I am only kinda asking for me but less confusing is best. I am sure they labeled it well. Thanks for the review. Well done
@acutabove_woodworkings3 ай бұрын
The taper that I'm referring to Aaron is the one at the end of each slat. Not the "v" shape but the angled cut at each end of the slat. Those angled cuts or tapers will go up, towards your face. I hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in.
