It makes perfect sense. They wake up from hangover, can't recognize their surroundings, have an identity crisis, want to BREXIT (cheque please); their Russian gas has run out; they are fed up with onion (Russians), kebab and complain about Europe having too much of black chocolate; but their primal urge to party on is so strong that they will party on like no tomorrow for another summer (and then some). This song describes archetypical europeans. The European juries and Eurovision public probably guessed that something was not PC, but they could not point to it directly, so it was merely voted down and every influencer insisted that the message is gibberish. But the message is actually loud and clear. The message was so clear that right after that Estonian organizers changed the song selection process which few years later buried Meiecundimees. But worry not, in 2018 Estonia trolled Eurovision with La Forza, in epic style.

Oh yeah, in Estonia eurovision is for chicks, children probably, old peple and gays. I haven't watched it in this century, except for this song(which I laughed my ass off to). So the fact that people voted this as a local winner said a lot about how fed up rest of the populace was with it, that they'd vote for the blatantly obvious troll entry. Didn't hurt that they were popular(amongst men) comedian group, not actual musicians. I hope that you don't mind me posting this 9 years later, was just in the mood for a laugh, looked the song up and thought I'd clarify some aspects of this performance. Since I currently have nothing better to do.

It was a novelty post soviet 90s, but after I figured out, that it was a great steaming pile of political garbage, haven't watched it since. At least got a good laugh out of this mockery song. Even as an obvious comedy entry it completely misfires - like something from 80s kids' TV that's both trying too hard and yet incredibly lazy. The visual "humour" is forced while meaningless lyrics make no jokes or comic observations. Two of the group can hardly sing a note in tune. Then there's the illustrations patronising the audience and even more demeaning treatment of women!
