Its really awesome to see how much you have improved in build quality from the last video! It looks really similar to the one used in the OG trilogy, which is a beautiful design, and the rub n buff worked freakin perfectly to get that old look! Great Job as always jake!

I got a little confused when I started seeing the footage from the Luke saber video but then It hit me that it would be way more easier and less time enducing to re-record the same process that you made for the Luke saber. Either way, great saber build!

This depends on which obi wan saber your making, revenge of the sith or new hope. Revenge of the sith, it doesn’t have a ring on the end, but a cover tec wheel where that dial is at 7:49. And on the “new hope” lightsaber everything in this video is accurate except that the switch at 6:04 has more greeblies on it.

Yeah, every thrift store has at least one lightsaber. I stole the electrical components (after I bought it) for a higher quality metal hilt I was making for my brother. I ended up frying the bored trying to bypass the built in button, but the otherwise expensive motion sensors. Also, what about the Gatorade cap (lol)

It's actually adobe after effects, sometimes using the saber preset, sometimes using masking.
