Kind of interesting to hear about development in Bithlo... during my college years at UCF one of my professors had us do a research paper on how much a toxic wasteland Bithlo was because they used it as a disposal site for hazardous materials for decades. I wonder if any of that has been reversed or they are just going to farm there and hope it doesn't affect people :(

Thinking about a 2025 move to Orlando, do you have a video on resort style communities that allow both AirBNB and long term living (we're wanting to buy something to live in fora few years and then use as a vacation home and short term renal after we move)

Do you happen to have a breakdown of the schools in the Clermont area? Private and public? We are planning to move for fall of 2025. My daughter will be entering high school and my son middle school. We are coming from Texas. We are intrigued by the growth particularly the Olympus project/wellness way. Our plan is to find the school that best fits our kids and move in that area, initially. Whether it’s a rental, 3 bedroom townhome w en suites (saw that in your video) or home. Whatever is best at the time of the move. I will be visiting the area a few times over 2024 to learn as much as I can about the area. Most importantly I need to find the right schools. Looking for the best soccer clubs in the area as well, both kids are heavy into soccer and track and field. Academically we need a school that allows for college credit as an option. Hoping you could help or recommend someone who could help me. Thank you!

I visited Lake Nona for the first time about a month ago and was Very disappointed. I watched some of yours and other peoples KZbin videos plus I found it out about Lake Nona from someone who was talking about it. The houses and townhouses, etc. are beautiful and different but what I was disappointed about was I thought Lake Nona was more walkable and bikeable and had more public transportation than it was in reality. The electric bus that was advertised so much there are three or four routes, but they go virtually nowhere. One route doesn’t run until 4 PM, another route just goes to the fitness center from the town Square and it’s so close you can walk there., Another route goes to the veterans hospital which, of course if you’re veterans, you don’t really need to go there And I forgot where the other one goes but it doesn’t go very far. I thought part of the purpose of these was if you were drinking alcohol in a restaurant, you could get home safely without having to drive yourself home or having a driver and also to be able to get around without a car or just using a car share. There were many bicycle pass, and some places, but virtually no one was using them. Also the town Square had virtually nothing to eat except high end restaurants I like to eat at fancy restaurants sometimes but I like more of a mix to choose from.

For the downtown is dangerous crowd. There is no way you have lived in any other major city. Downtown Orlando is not anywhere near DC, San Fran, LA, Miami, etc. really makes me upset when folks see homeless people and say dangerous. People have gotten so full of themselves.

There was a crime in the garage in downtown Orlando last weekend. A 35 year old Dad was shot and killed. I view downtown Orlando as undesirable

That argument can also be used to make SF or other major cities you cited safe compared to Tijuana Mexico. I would not feel safe in downtown Orlando

Lake Mary and Heathrow are perfection. Great neighborhoods, quaint little town, well rated schools, just a little far from downtown, the airport, and parks (if that’s your thing)
