I was little af when this snow storm hit. I remember it was snow covered with a layer of ice and that was the only snow days I ever had.

Those were the years when winter was winter here in the Carolinas on February 12, 2017 we had temperatures in the 70's and 80's including the NC mountains that usually are in the 30's this time of year. Yes it been a couple of warm winters in a roll will be glad to get the normal cold winters again.

I remember it well, I was at work when it started and was lucky I made it home. Must have passed a half-dozen wrecks on the way and remember them saying on the radio station "If you are involved in a traffic accident with no injuries, just exchange insurance information. The police are not able to attend every call do to the number of accidents"
