Havent had power for more than 5 minutes every other hour. It sucks, But i really feel for those who have electric stoves and heat.. Thank GOD at the very least my family has gas stove and heater..prayers to those poor people...someone really needs to be held accountable. This is unacceptable. You cant say we use more electricity in the winter than the summer in texas.

@@chemo38 you're absolutely right. Its 50 in our house right now with a fire going in the fire place. We all have on multiple layers of clothes as well as multiple blankets. I feel really bad for the people who don't have shelter at all. CPS needs to be held accountable for not properly prepping for this.

Thomas Arriaga, looks like we do use more in winter, the reason is that in summer a house to reach 75 degrees with a 105 outside temperature the AC has to lower the temperature 30 degrees. But in winter with a temperature of 10-20 degrees, the Electric Heater has to work its way 65-55 degrees to reach 75. In Texas most houses work with electricity, not gas, so thats why we use more electricity on winter. Usually is not this cold, that’s why the grid was ok other years.

Just moved here to San Antonio a few months ago from northern Idaho. winter is brutal out there so this snow that dropped here is nothing to us. One thing i can say is that texas needs to step up they're game for all weather conditions... Not everything is BIGG in texas... Stay warm and safe people...

I want to know how many people were affected because of CPS imposing it’s “rotating outages”. Bet that would be a truly informative news story. The rotating outages are suppose move from one neighborhood to the next with maybe a 15 to 30 min interruption. Not this 1-5 min of power and 30 min to 2hrs of no power.

We got little power as is because of this “outrage.” My grandma is 67 years old, and freezing her ass off. We vote these guys into office to circle jerk each other, and walk through a million miles of red tape.
