"Kenshi But I play as Bounty Hunters" is a Kenshi challenge series where I play as a band of Bounty Hunters trying to become rich and powerful through nothing but Bounty Hunting.
Kenshi is a free-roaming squad based RPG focusing on open-ended sandbox gameplay features rather than a linear story. Be a trader, a thief, a rebel, a warlord, an adventurer, a farmer, a slave, or just food for the cannibals.
Research new equipment and craft new gear. Purchase and upgrade your own buildings to use as safe fortified havens when things go bad, or use them to start up a business. Aid or oppose the various factions in the world while striving for the strength and wealth necessary to simply survive in the harsh desert. Train your men up from puny victims to master warriors. Carry your wounded squad mates to safety and get them all home alive.

I remember making about 800k from selling loot from just one lab. At that point playing on this save kinda lost sense to me as I had only two guys but they were basically gods. One was that kind of samurai-ninja archetype, lightly armored with katanas or ninja swords, he was incredibly skilled in melee combat, like he could parry multiple beakthings, like twelve at a time all day long without getting hurt while sneaking a hit or two once in a while slowly cutting them one by one. He was my main guy and a bounty hunter. And the other guy... the other guy was FUCKING SCARY, he started out as a joke character, I decided to not ever give him any weapon or armor as unarmed seemed pretty bad and useless then, he was my go-to-engineer and builder guy for a long time, his STR became super high because he was walking from town to town with tons of resources on his back all the time, I was paying very little attention to him, he was just doing his things in the background. For weeks it would go like this: I send him to town B from town A, he either did it no problem or was beaten and captured, then my ninja guy would go and save him, once he could walk again, gather resources, transport them, repeat. I don't even know at which point he became A FUCKING MONSTER, when took the three ton backpack out of him he started RIPPING PEOPLE TO SHREDS, that fucker could kick off few paladins' heads off their fucking shoulders WITH ONE MOVE, limbs and heads were literally flying meters in the air. Not just that but he started doing flying dragon kicks and shit, like damn, I was shocked beyond imagination, he became an anime character! Quiet guy who always get's picked on, no one ever pays any attention to him, people just task him with hard work and tell to suck it, then he get's fed up with it, takes his three ton weights off and goes bare handed super saiyan on bully's and his friends' asses leaving a literal bloody gore behind. Seriously, unarmed is useless at first but then gets ridiculously overpowered, I still have some screenshots from one of his fights. 210 damage per hit and that fucker would kamikaze jump into a group of twelve EXPLODING THEM. I need to play again some time, that game was fun!

That's awesome. My main guy mostly does thievery and scouting, but only has clothing that boosts his skills and unarmed. He sucks in pretty much every fight and almost dies, but improves a little every time. Besides, he always has three tanks (one of which barely wears any armor), three hive soldiers and a human with polearms and hackers, a healer/katana user, and Green the aimbot user to bail him out.

Love to see Kenshi again ^^. Reminds me of a similar run I did. They were led by a former united city soldier gone rogue. Being a woman she didn't have a lot of places to go to once the united cities started to hate her guts. She actually even was quite good at blacksmithing, but not nearly as peaceful/mentally stable as Hammer seems to be so far. Of the gang I think I just love Griff for his heirloom shotgun, it's a cool idea.

i have a relatively easy way of getting alot of money from bounty hunting, just go to the fog islands and try to kill abunch of fog princes, their worth 6k a head and you can technically make infinite of them spawn as long as there is a prisoner pole occupied in a fog deathyard

One sad thing about vanilla Kenshi is there's nowhere a sufficient amount of bounties to go around with making a run in which you entirely sustain your expenses claiming them. Only sand ninjas and few dust bandits are "renewable" bounties per say, some of the major bounties can escape prison and allow claiming a second time but that's it, your pay as a lawful warrior is almost exclusively in the form of loot you resell to that one poor bartender who has now a huge comprehensive collection of Catun weapons and don't know what the hell to do with them.

I don't know if you have this mod already, but it might be actually useful for this playthrough. It is called "Higher and Stronger Random Bounties". It basically spawns independent criminal squads, which can be turned in for some quick cash.
