Greetings from Turkey.... I've been playing bendir (Frame drum) by myself for a long time. I believe I will play more professionally with you now. Greetings to Canada...

Hi Ken, just a few days ago I came across the frame drum played by Marla Leigh on KZbin. I fell in love with the rhythms and sounds immediately. Now I ‘ve bought a frame drum in 16 “ . Fortunately your Frame drum basics video appeared and I found the best teacher I could possibly imagine. Your way to introduce the strokes and body posture makes it very easy to follow. Especially your tips for holding and playing the drum as relaxed as possible is very important for me. I appreciate your lessons very much, Ken ! It’ s really fun to learn with you ! Best wishes 💛😊 from Germany Ute

Great intro. I have just dipped a toe into the wide sea of frame drumming. Some intro videos are almost too intimidating. Yours not at all. Good pace and a good place to start.
