one of the major issues with utr is they’re afraid to get into challenges and 50/50s, when the ball is dropping from the air you can see how scared they are go challenge and win the ball, the other team was more aggressive and didn’t hesitate to win the ball back so many times

Cause most of their players are too technical for that style of game, they rather touch it down and pull off some fancy skill (which we all know they can do) but they don’t have a powerhouse in midfield to run for 90minutes and not scared of a challenge

Takes from the game :- 1) Thomas has been in very bad form for quite a few time now. 2) The midfield lacked creativity except Manny, it would've been an easy game if Eric and Adem was there from the start. 3) All those negatives comment about Sam but he is literally 50% of UTR's attack against good teams 4) The fitness was shocking boys, no pressing or recovering or aggression at all. The team is never ever the same! It’s no wonder fluidity and press and passing isn’t as good as it should be! The inconsistency of the same players week in week out is what is hurting utr the most! Now I know it’s Sunday footy but goodness me the level of changes that have to happen and players playing in unfamiliar positions all the time is mad to me! Once or twice every now and then people let you down but there’s 5/6 changes every week and you wonder why a half decent team rolls you over!

The problem I see in this game. - Marf is correct, no urgency, playing too safe, scared to even play the ball, lacking fight to win the second ball. - Hold the ball too long and too many touches in tight spaces, even if its Sunday league, opposition do not afraid to tackle. Its like UTR want to panna first before passing the ball. - No proper spacing, Idk what the gameplan is, but leaving your midfielder stranded is not the move. The midfield too rigid, need someone to creat spaces at the no 10 spaces and the half spaces. The winger did not have support from ... everyone really. Thomas is... I know hes the hold up striker but he needs to get close to his wingers and midfields to link up plays more often but Im assuming thats the gameplan. - Playing long ball is okay, but you need the WHOLE team to push up the pitch to press and win the second ball.

Class midfielders but instead of playing simple when it’s needed, the ball hog becomes too much. The defenders stand behind the attackers during crosses, making it more difficult to defend it. The final third, in 9 plays I’ve seen opportunities where a goal could have happened but you waste it too much on long shots and dribbling. Yes you can take long shots but do it at the right moment, not everytime you have space to shoot. There is always 1-2 persons in a better position than you. Other than that, the team is good

There's no point singling out one player. The work rate is not what we are accustomed to watch week in and week out. Midfield lacked creativity and we know they are talented. Wingers needed to be more direct, when Sam came on we saw glimpse of what UTR wingers do. It wasn't a good performance overall but I'm hoping next week you guys can bounce back.
