Great video, it captures scenes that I was not able to witness from the trains. I was there in June 1974 and again 50 years later yesterday. How wonderfully the railway has progressed, thank you for capturing it so splendidly. I look forward to more videos from your channel. Incidentally, I was the chap in grey who asked you what was coming up the line and you caught me filming the traction engine crossing the line at 8.41.

Ahh yes! Did you manage to catch Knowle at any point? KESR is a great railway, really enjoyed it whenever I have been and they always put on an excellent show. Thank you for the kind comment. I hope you had a great day.

Lovely to see Hastings running - it always looked so sad when I worked on the line as a teenager in the 1970s.

That double-header looks excellent and I am sure made for a fun day out for all the gala visitors at the KESR. The coaches look immaculate too, nice to see some variety from the otherwise dominant Mark I stock.

Always love to see more than just MK1s. Some Maunsell or earlier coaches are preferred.
