Kent is one of my favorite bands. Their lyrics are very hard to understand. Would also like to see you guys listen to Socker, pärlor and en himmelsk drog.

Kent is a band with working class roots. Sweden is a socialist country but more and more people vote liberal. The singer (who wrote all lyrics) has complained that there’s lack of vision in swedish politics - only focus on short term gain for each party and petty disputes amongst them. He also stated at concerts that it’s all of ours responsibility to make sure that the racist party don’t get voted into parlament. That was at the same tour as this single was released. He is rarely clear about specific topics of the songs, they are usually more of a societal consideration than a message.
