The part that didn’t get on camera was when the pike slipped out of my hands but I still had a hold on the TRD ned…that thing stretched four feet from my hand holding it to the pikes mouth as it hit the ground like a yo-yo!😂🤣 Those Zman Elaztechs are no joke, that thing stretched out for days. "No Fishing" painted on the cement....so they fish it anyway. LOL! Thug Life baby! I'm actually planning to take my boat out to Kent Lake this year to chase some Largemouth. You are welcome to go with me if you want. I appreciate Smallmouth but I've always been partial to Largemouth and I know the inland lakes are the best option to catch them. Fished Cass Lake last year with no luck. But then I'm a horrible Bass fisherman to begin with.

It’s so funny because believe it or not, I never even noticed until I was editing the video!😂 Not even the employees at the rental said anything and we had a few right by us.🤷🏻‍♂️ Definitely go early Tony, I’m sure you know that it gets pretty choked out with weeds fairly quick. Stoney has always been the same way. Lake Orion and Oxford Lake are supposed to be good as well, ever try those?

Awesome session you two. Had no clue he was in waders hahaha. I was like what is he doing out in the middle of the water! Great fish for the both of you and a bonus pike. What kind of setup do you use for ned rigs if you don't mind me asking. I've never been able to throw them on a baitcaster.

Thanks Jared! I throw the ned on a Bass Pro MegaCast baitcaster. At the time I bought it, it was the cheapest combo they sold. The reel has such a slow release system that it actually casts much like a BFS reel, so you can get away with throwing incredibly light lures on it. I’m throwing the ned on this one with a 1/5oz jig head. The line I’m using is 10lb mono. It seems to be the perfect match for the ned and I’ve been throwing it this was for the last three years. I prefer it to my BFS reel set up, but the rod is very stiff and not very responsive. Somehow, it works!
