@@coop1osrs now it’s the schools that will pay the most money that are going to get the best players now which to me is sad, because most of these kids are already getting a free education at these schools! 3 yrs ago the average biggest score was like in the 50’s. Now I believe scores are going to be in the high 60’s and 70’s now! Some of the top schools 3rd stream players are better than most average college 1st stream which is funny but crazy! However, I like seeing huge scores though! 😂

I'd have loved to see 100+ to 0 and it would've been EASY for tennessees first string to set some records (and they did for UT just not for the NCAA overall), and we STILL ran the score up. But to run it up further than it already was would've just been a knife in the back of Kent state. Got a good chance to give 2nd and 3rd string some love and experience. Now if this was Alabama? Best bet 1st string would've been in the whole game and we would've ran it up as much as we could.

But Josh Heupel has absolutely brought the Vols back from the doorstep of death these last 3 years. Overall the Vols and the SEC have been the powerhouse of football since I was a kid. And I've bled orange and white since the day I was born. But it goes without saying that they've really stepped up these last few years and I'm beyond excited for this season. Even our 3rd string would've blown them out of the water but that 34 points in the first quarter was all first string. Nonetheless, running the score up 100+ to 0 just wouldn't look all that sportsmanlike for us lol. As much as I'd love to see us drop triple digits.

Bishop's open-field juke on his TD run in the 1st quarter seemed simple, but setting up second-level tacklers to miss without slowing down is NFL-caliber stuff. Then he did the same thing again on a run in the 2nd quarter. Pretty good for a walk-on.
