Man looking back, how this game would mean for Florida right now. Florida got back to back wins over LSU and Ole Miss and sit at 6-5, and this is definitely a game that let get away. I am glad to see some competitiveness come back in the Florida-Tennessee rivalry. Back in the days of the Spurrier and Fulmer era, this was the marquee game of not just the SEC, but the college football schedule.

Good game to both teams from a Hogs fan. Tennessee battles adversity to come back and win in an OT thriller after last weeks dissappointing loss. Florida showed true grit out there and is alot better than everyone predicted them to be in the offseason. Bama and Georgia arent the world beaters they usually are, Vandy is good, and my hogs are not losing every game they play by a score lol.. Been a crazy year of college football so far!

It was not a noncontact injury that hurt Mertz. It was almost an exact parallel to when he had a season ending injury in 2023. He got injured and kept playing in a big game just off of the adrenaline before the pain was too much to go on. Regardless of how anyone without positive or negative bias toward him as a player thinks of his on field play, hard to argue against him being warrior and trying to do everything he can at the position

If you have a chance to win in the final moments of any game, and you know that you are the lesser team, you never play for overtime you play for the win. if Billy Napier knew that he had any opportunity to keep his job at the end of the season, he would’ve gone for it. The only reason he would play to lose as he did is because he has been told he will be fired. Why else would any head coach who is the lesser team, in an away game, and lost their starting quarterback to injury so they are playing with the back up quarterback purposely lose the game by going to overtime? If you cannot have confidence to get 3 yards on one single play, how could you ever expect to win the game in a do or die situation that starts 25 yards away
