I love your videos Andy, and that chicken and potato dinner you made looked deeeeee-licious! I was kind of shocked when you didn't put any kind of sauce on your chicken! It looked like a wonderful meal, after a long day. That TENT on the other hand, was a disaster waiting to happen! Glad you were able to work with it. Take care, from Brighton, Ontario, Canada!

I thought it was a great Halloween camp! The creepy spider tent that slowly collapses on its prey and the hexagon bonfire combined with the sound of that pump and your moans during the night were certainly frightening! Plus, the ancient tradition of sacrificing a chicken was observed. All in all, another great camp! lol Thanks for the fun adventure, Andy !

I'd love to see hm do a Wisconsin grilled chicken. They pop open a can of beer and...umm...use the beer like a maneqquin stand? Lol. They set it on the grill and the beer steams into the chicken as it cooks. It's to die for.

Hello Andy, many years ago my father bought a new and revolutinary tent called an Igloo. It was a basic dome tent, but it had inflatable rubber tubes housed in leather pouches in the 'corners' of the light tent fabric. We went back home to Cornwall and camped on the family farm in the summer of 1957, which was a very hot summer! The new tent with a sewn in oilcloth groundsheet was inflated with a car foot pump and it was quickly erected and my mother was delighted! However, in the late afternoon when we were relacxing at camp enjoying the lovely views of the English channel and the Dodman Point stretching away on our left, there was a sudden explosion and the Igloo tent slowly sagged to the ground! The inner tube was a bit like octopus tenticles and was inserted into the four leather envelopes and closed at the bottom with wooden clamps. The removal patching and re-insertion of the tubes took a long time, a job my father did often twice a day during our two week holiday. There was a serious design fault with the tent as no provision had been made for a relief valve and the removal, repair and insertion of the tubes took about half an hour! But the tent though seriously lacking due to its revolutionary design when working was great. However, I would not liked to have camped with it in bad weather as it was very lightly made and there was no flysheet. Love your programs, always very informative,

Andy your channel is probably the only one where I click like within the first 10 seconds of a video. No matter what I know it'll be good. I have a thought/suggestion. With regards to the chicken bucket fire oven. Please forgive me I'm not outdoorsy by any means but I do like cooking. Would it not be better to make a wider ring (ooh eer) of campfire get the fire and charcoals established and at a stable temperature then put the chicken in the middle with bucket and push the coals closer to the bucket. Almost like pre heating an oven. That way the temps wouldn't be so erratic early on. It would be more of a slow roast I guess. Also maybe put a small oven tray underneath to catch juices for basting while resting. Either way please please keep doing what your doing. Much love bud.

I camped in this same tent (different brand) about 10 days ago and I absolutely loved it! Very spacious for such a small tent. I wish they'd made the doors "D" doors that you can roll and toggle to the side instead of down on the bottom of the tent. And be/c its a double tent, it was fairly warm. I was nervous too thinking I may encounter a collapsible tent in the middle of the night but no issues at all other than some condensation which was probably from the propane heater. Anyhoodles, love your content!!
