I'm a KY fan and Steve Alford is a gentleman and true professional. After taking the beating they did, he sure is Classy to come out and give KY the credit he did.

Steve Alfred signed a 10-year extension at New Mexico and stated at the Press Conference during the signing that quote, “I have said from our first game in The Pit that this was a special place and that it was a tremendous honor to be the head basketball coach at the University of New Mexico,”, he then took the UCLA coaching position a few days later, he is a “disgusting” “incompetent” “inept” fool who the Univeristy of New Mexico is better off without!

Because he did whats best for his life and went to a higher paying job at the school with the most national championships in history? You're just bitter. He probably wasnt lying about New Mexico during that conference. He just did what anyone would do.

Cody Scrivano Yes, he did do “what anyone would do” who lacks integrity, you obviously are not from a time when a Man’s word was his bond. The money is irrelevant, what about “keeping your word as well as your commitment”, another example of a“lost” fool who has little or no credibility, moral principals, honor, character, virtue, sincerity, truthfulness or ethics! For you to defend this stupidity, speaks volumes about you!

***** Whatever you say buddy. You really are just sore. I am a man of my word and so is he, he just didn't know a better opportunity would open up for him and his family. Like i said, he didn't lie. The pit is a great place to coach, UCLA is just a place you can make a legacy with the tools they have, he had to at least try.

Cody Scrivano He is a man of his word? How do you know that for a fact? The truth is you don’t!

Cody Scrivano If he was a man of his "word", he would have honored his commitment!
