THANK YOU, THANK YOU for posting this .... Col Huston has been a friend of my family since 1979 ... Together with my Daddy (also a Marine and Vietnam Vet) served our community as JROTC instructors ... the Col continues to serve our community as a speaker ... a friend and volunteer in many local programs ... he is a Giant among men to say the least .... and I am truly blessed by knowing this man ....

Uncle Vance, I will miss you first as my Uncle, the family gatherings as well as my inspiration for so many ventures in my life as well as the many stories that you shared with me on and of the record. The trust our country put in your exceptional flying became apparent as you flew our Presidents in Marine One is a true testament to your service to our nation and your service to God. You leave a legacy that is momentous to man who lived much of your life serving our country to remain a safer place then for us all to live and remember. I know Aunt Ella Mae as well as your children also have done much to support you, our country to the fullest in Live and Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. May God keep you and watch over you. This man is so amazing, with his passing the world lost one of our greatest protectors. I know i am a better person for have gotten the honor of knowing him. May he rest in peace and keep heaven safe.
