I have a few public spots that have beans but the deer aren't in them when you can hunt they've already moved to mast. Come around late season and theyve been pressured so hard they wont come out in them till dark. If I could hunt them in September maybe but October or Late season is a bust.

Shot a blacktail once chest on in waist high ferns. No blood trail. Turned out he didn't go more than 40 yards but it took 4 of us half an hour to find him. Back then no GPS tracker to see where you've already walked. If you mount that thing you need to drape some swamp grass on the antlers!

It’s the rode wireless mic. It’s a known issue with them unfortunately.

We finally figured it out later in the season, if the WiFi on the camera is on it interferes with the wireless mic. Turned the WiFi off and they did perfect
