You should come back to Mt. Sterling during Court Days! The city is FULL of vendors, good food and music for at least 3 days or more. I live in Lexington and love that I'm surrounded by so much history and beauty. Thanks for visiting our amazing state. ❤ Oh and those rock fences you saw...the ones in Paris, KY, leading into Lexington, have signs that tell when they were constructed.

Next time you come through here you need to eat at Mammys Kitchen down on the square. The history here is unbelievable. So many cool places and not to mention all of the distilleries and tours that you can take. We will treat you to Mammys if you ever decide to come back for a few days

The best 'travelogue' of these areas of Kentucky that I've ever seen; no lie! Ya did miss Georgetown College and the Toyota plant in Georgetown but that's not what you do kinda... I have lived in this area for 70 years and really enjoyed reading the 'story boards/markers' you focus on occasionally. Many thanks for an accurate view of the region! But, ya gotta visit the most beautiful small town in the United States: Madison Induana. Right across the Ohio from Milton, Kentucky (to me...) it's reminiscent of the line from Rocky Mountain High: He was born in the summer of his 27th year; coming home to a place he'd never been before.
