I no longer have to worry about home defense since I left civilization behind to live in the woods. It's been fun. Foraging for food is a lot easier than I expected. Just recently, I found a whole bucket of fried chicken just sitting out in the open. There was even a table with condiments nearby.

For home defense, I recommend a howitzer parked nearby and ready to fire. Often, because of exploding shrapnel, one doesn't necessarily need to hit the target, although extensive drywall, floor, ceiling, window, siding repair...on the neighbor's house, might be needed.

My personal favorite for home defense is my 1848/53 danish snider conversion. Chambered in 17mm danish(.69 caliber) black powder, works pretty well. Brown shorts factor comes into play. However, pinning a bad guy to the wall would be not only effective, but amusing. But the one home defense weapon Scott showed but failed to elaborate on was the 6.7 litre 7000 lbs guided missile he showed at the very end of the video.

47 pellets? I thought 2x18 was 36. The voodoo magic of the 10 guage gas gifted us 11 more pellets

Hey Scott , for the ballistic gel slabs behind the drywall, ever thought of pushing it against, grabbing a sharpie and tracing both sides and then that way you know the square to aim for and where it’s hitting on the other side through the gel?

Can't we all thank Scott for bringing the t-rex back to life singlehandedly. Thumbs up 👍 all the way!

LMFAO. I appreciate that more than I can say. The crossbow was possibly the most unexpectedly impressive weapon of all. Very cool and very stealthy as well. Nicely done! Cheers.

"You just got jammed" will never get old 🤣🤣 Scott's picks for home defence make me feel better about 10mm ACP by the bedside 🤘😎 Rock on brother!

Can confirm, that’s a good choice for the bedside.

for bolts/arrows its the feathers that stop it; if the gel was next to the wall it would easily go all the way. The long & narrow shape of arrows means they tend to penetrate much further than bullets of similar momentum. (momentum, not kinetic energy!)

You mean speed Momentum and kinetic energy are synonymous.

For anyone reading the title, there's also a wood chipper, and Thor's hammer.... that's the first time I've ever seen the title of a video less exciting than the video itself on KZbin😂😂
