I had to take about 10 takes on the ballistic gel slo-mo. Initially the block is engulfed in powder flash. Next, what appears to be a pressure wave drills to the full length. Finally the shot enters the block, rolls it back on itself like a candy bar wrapper, completely disintegrating the core. The big finally is watching the block flailing about before doing a double backflip off the table.

Scott should buy a periscope so he can see the shots in real time while being safely behind the cover of his truck!

Man that round is completely impracticable but it kicks like a tank. That 5 gallon jug had worse damage than most rounds including some shotguns. So awesome to see especially on the gell!

From gun meme review to scott's channel, we finally see .50 BMG ratshot in action. as always the intros just keep getting funnier

One of the limitations of .50BMG is that you get limited energy transfer to the target. The bullet passes through the target, barely notices and just keeps on going. This ammo seems to have solved the energy transfer issue.

Sure, as long as your target is within spitting distance

That's an awesome round! Whatever happened to "watermelon time"? Exploding watermelons is always fun...

Wow that accident was beyond traumatic, I hope one day Scott can get back up on the bike and shoot a 50 BMG with no strings attached. I do however prefer that he leaves the exotic ammo on the sled.
@cxpKSip Жыл бұрын
The guy is brave enough to keep doing exotic .50 rounds, though. He's smart enough to do this at least. I wouldn't wanna touch that caliber after such an unholy incident.
@truthloveandhappiness3026 Жыл бұрын
@@cxpKSip even getting out on the range is huge hurdle. And quite possibly his dad might have a part in that. You don't want to watch your son go through that again.

Ya gotta admit he still pops off some wild crap. I'd have second thoughts about picking up a squirrel gun after going through that.

I thank God you are still alive and I am happy you have the courage to continue to work with the very tool that nearly killed you. I love your amazing sense of humour and unweavering desire to keep working with such dangerous tools. "Just put a thumb in it!"

Awesome video Scott always brings us something interesting and if that's intended for rat's and snacks I don't want to see the size of either of them but if I have a varmint problem like a bear I'll be sure to call you like good lord absolutely ridiculous but hey no clean up after you shoot your varmint cause it's vaporized lol

Can I say, I’m slightly disappointed about the lack of mention of R.O.U.S’s. I do believe the Dread Pirate Robert’s would have found these very helpful in the fire swamp. Oh well.

Scott is going to come out to his range one day to find it overgrown with eggplant because of all the eggplants he destroys, inadvertently scattering seeds everywhere.
