Coming from a guy who watched every pre and postgame interview he could find in the Cal era, Willie was always my favorite interview. Dude is thoughtful and never gives canned answers. He would say things to make the media people think. He always has had a unique perspective on life and basketball and I think it has served him well in both.

The reasons it special to wear a UK jersey... 1) There are no PRO TEAMS in the state so UK is looked at like a Pro Team. 2) The fans..... they will ride or die with u no matter what as long as u give it everything 3) TRADITION... This program is the GREATEST and will continue to be looked at that way forever 4) Alumni that continue to comeback during summers and part wisdom to the up and comers and 5) IT'S KENTUCKY.... Every single announcer would mention WCS being a WR in high school til they belabored the point. So funny to hear that brought up by someone who is actually hearing it for the first time
