Kenwood KD 3055: My First turntable repair!

headshell, pins .... thingy's BTW, I have a KD-3055, nice rig - am working on setting up, its quite complicated. Cart = Cartridge, looks like your screws are mounted upside down, no biggie. Also, there's a screw thingy at the back of the tonearm under a rubber grommet. turn it left or right to adjust tonearm dropdown and auto return.

Download a copy of the owners manual - you just turn the screw underneath the rubber plug right or left, trial & error. Unfortunately there's no service manual online to download for this though.

Hey Dave, is there a release button so my turntable platter well come off on my kd2055? I watched the video but couldn’t see if you had a release button.

Sorry for taking so long to respond! No, there was so release button on my model. However when I firsts bought it the platter was stuck. If this is your problem, VERY LIGHTLY tap the middle pole thing with a rubber mallet or maybe screwdriver handle to loosen it.
