Best indeed very basic but functional and enabling QSO at any distance. I found receiver sounds much brighter and clearer though it doesn’t have any bells and whistles very basic features but works very well. Enjoy it & thanks for supporting the channel. Best regards from The Netherlands

The one I had the transistors in each oscillator died causing no display.Replaced them all in each band ,good as gold

Thnx for the tip. Do you still know the numbers of transistors and the e-commerece plateform you bought them from. Perhaps I am thinking to order ahead and keep in stock if I encounter similiar problem with radio like yours. Best 73 & Many Thnx for supporting the channel, much appriciated

I had one of those from new after the warrenty ran out it was doing the same as your rig which extended eventually to all bands when I complained to Lowe's they just laughed.

Well I think it is just the bad contacts in the band switch or the frequency crystal is faulty. But these are assumptions based on the first look and I can not be very certain till I open the radio and test the components involved. Thanks for sharing your prespective surely I will dig deeper and will try to record it to share with the community on the channel. So Fingers crossed till next episode.
