This is one thing I don’t dare do on my trucks. I never work on the front end. I’m just to scared I might make a mistake that can cause the whole thing to come apart while driving 😂 I rather pay someone like this guy who makes it look ridiculously easy. But that’s because he does it all day for years. Remember. All the great masters of their trade make the job look easy. That’s what makes them masters of a trade.

I never saw a new kingpin going like this through those new metal bushings. I used to do this operation hundreds of times back there in Europe, but a new kingpin was not fitting through new bushings and I always had to mill those bushings on a CNC milling machine. When a kingpin was going through like this through new bushings i had to go with thicker bushings and mill them on a CNC.

Good video. Done many a king pins on I'd say every manufacturer and yes never seen em come out that nice by the time they were needing replaced. My only issue with this video is the only tool I didn't see is a torque wrench. Was kinda shocked seeing the skill level the mechanic possessed and didn't see one. His knowledge on the process tells me he should know better. Solid video all the same.

I agree not seeing a torque wrench especially for lug studs a impact gun is not a torqueing tool,over stretching lug studs can break

Just cause u didnt see it doesn't mean he didn't, I didnt see ubolts tighten, measure front hanger to unbolts to ensure square axle. I saw skill and care otherwise. I judge on what I see, not what I dont!

Я тоже охренел как все легко снялось. Сколько я этих шкворней аовыбевал а потом новые втулки подгонял это ужас просто. А здесь одним молоточком все поснимал. А вот с стремянка и прям удивил.Я так понял лень откручивать.Я с тряпочками в керосине отмачивал по дням. Сколько пальцев сбито и время с жизни угроблено. Тьфу
